3,071 students participated in 35 non-subjects and student support programs – Student major competency and pride 'Ssuksu' and external reputation 'upward'

In 2024, Incheon National University School of Law, which sought to strengthen its major competency while providing fun and value to students amid the catchphrase of "School of Law, which is likely to cause heart fluttering," has reached its end in winter vacation. 

Based on the results of the recent three-year education consumer satisfaction of current students, the "2024 School of Law Comparison and Student Support Program Operation Plan" was prepared to improve "non-curricular education, job start-up support service, educational administration service, recognition, and reputation". 

This plan consists of four categories, including a special lecture series on major careers, a program to cultivate a sense of belonging and pride for students, a learning support for students, a special lecture to strengthen major competencies, and a social contribution program. It was supported by external media reports and public relations activities, and the vitality and vitality of Incheon National University's School of Law were known both inside and outside the school in 2024. 

Specifically, the 'Special Career Lecture Series for Majors' included former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Kim Sun-tae, former National Assemblyman Yoo Seung-min, and former Constitutional Court President Park Han-chul. Seven social celebrities participated in the series and served as compasses for students. 

Six events were then held, including providing coffee cars at spring and MT places for School of Law students, watching group movies, and providing soft ice cream coupons for sports competitions as a "program to cultivate a sense of belonging and pride for students," energizing and fun in college life. 

In addition, a total of 18 events were held in succession, including support for the purchase of major books, operation of a preparatory class for law schools, special lectures, visits to legal institutions, special lectures on alumni of law, special lectures on professional occupations, photoshoots of students' proofs, the 36th mock trial, and visiting programs at Hwadong Law University in China. 

In addition, a "social contribution program" was prepared with the aim of cultivating legal talents who communicate and breathe with society, including summer rural volunteer activities, winter briquette delivery, and daily necessities support volunteer activities. Four programs were held, and the authenticity and warmth of young young students were delivered to society. 

In response, Incheon National University's law department said, "A total of 3,071 people participated in a total of 35 programs through the operation of comparative departments and student support programs in 2024, and while the student program satisfaction result was calculated as 4.88 (based on 5.0 million points), 511 foreign media reports and 59,612 YouTube views were recorded." 

This is the result of two consecutive years in a tight four-legged formation between Lee Choong-hoon, head of the School of Law's student council, Cho Yoon-sung, and Cho Yoon-sung, head of the School of Law. In particular, the dedication and enthusiasm of Cho Yoon-sung, a former alma mater who took care of the students as his own younger brother, shone. 

As a result, students from other departments in the school were interested in and asked to participate in the program prepared by the School of Law, and many of the candidates who applied for the School of Law's interview in the occasional and transfer screening served as a means to directly explain the reason for "choosing the department."

"I think that various law school programs prepared this year have improved the members' major competencies and pride," said Son Han-ji, a student at Incheon National University's School of Law. "We have come to expect that the eyes and interests of our law department will eventually affect our positive reputation."
